He has worked in wine education for over fifteen years and has taught in multiple countries including the United States, India, China, and Brazil. He is the author of the first edition of The Modern Sommelier Compendium, the official textbook for the ISG Diploma Program. The book has been translated into over ten languages and is used by students around the globe.
